Jane Howatt developed a passion for American literature early in life, always dreaming of writing a book. However, her responsibilities as a wife and mother and working alongside her physician husband in a rural medical facility kept her busy for years. Jane and her husband love to travel, exploring places like Florence, New Orleans, and Africa whenever possible. At home in California, they lead an active lifestyle filled with sports, travel, and time spent at the dog park. An avid tennis player and hiker in the Sierra Nevadas, Jane also takes care of her five rescue dogs and an aviary of Zebra Finches. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Augusta State University.
